Cora Grinder
Project Description
The grinder is a staple product in many homes. Our team at Fairkeep Ltd., wanted to utilize our grinder manufacturing and assembly expertise and engineer a mill that preserves a signature function while balancing aesthetics.
The evolution of the design and mechanics started from analyzing a multitude of hand sizes and interactions to provide the most ergonomic handling. We had studied a plethora of spices and peppercorns from varying countries to ensure universal compatibility.
After rounds of form and mechanical studies, "Cora Grinder" was prototyped, tested, and tooled for production in-house. We wanted to engineer a product that functions and feels seamlessly on the dining table or kitchen countertop in formal and casual environments.
